As part of its ongoing efforts to establish itself as a key economic and commercial hub in Libya and the Mediterranean region, the Misurata Free Zone today presented the preliminary concept for a state-of-the-art exhibition center and a luxury five-star hotel, one of the most prominent strategic investment projects designed to attract both local and international investors.


The presentation took place during an extensive technical session attended by Eng. Muhsin Sigutri, Chairman of the Management Committee; Mr. Abdel Baset Al-Dawadi, Chairman of the General Assembly of the Libyan Islamic Bank; Eng. Ayman Al-Darwish, General Manager of the MFZ; along with the Port Manager , several department Port heads, and representatives from both parties .


The project aims to establish an integrated investment complex over a large area, including land allocated for international exhibitions, a modern logistics zone, and a five-star hotel, making it an ideal destination for business, conferences, and high-end hospitality services, in accordance with the highest global standards.


The project represents an important milestone in developing the investment environment and logistics infrastructure within the Free Zone. It is expected to stimulate economic activity, expand opportunities for international cooperation, and enhance Misrata’s position as a leading commercial and investment hub in Libya.


The Misrata Free Zone confirms that this project is part of a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at diversifying the national economy , attracting strategic partners, and building an attractive and sustainable investment environment that supports economic growth and enhances Libya’s competitiveness in the region.
