Misurata Free Zone Port Enhances Regional Role with Launch of New Shipping Line

Misurata Free Zone Port has strengthened its position as a regional maritime hub with the arrival of a new international shipping service. CLARION LINES officially commenced its operations in Libya today, marked by the arrival of the vessel Ocean Dragon from Nigeria.

This new route provides a direct link between the African mainland and Libya, significantly enhancing maritime trade activity. By offering a safe and efficient sea corridor connected to major international shipping lanes, the line reinforces the port’s role as a vital commercial gateway between Libya and the rest of Africa.

The expansion is expected to attract additional regional and international shipping lines, support the movement of exports and imports, and further solidify the Port of Misurata Free Zone as one of the leading commercial centers and maritime corridors in North Africa and the Mediterranean basin.
