Misurata Free Zone Strengthens Its Role as a Logistics Hub for Libya’s Oil and Gas Sector Through Strategic Investment Agreement with MedServ Libya

Under the agreement with the Misurata Free Zone, MedServ Libya – MFZ Branch continues to provide logistics support services to companies operating in the exploration and drilling project at Libya’s Bahr Al-Salam offshore field within Libyan territorial waters.

This activity is part of the investment agreement signed on November 1 between the Misurata Free Zone and MedServ, granting the company the right to operate its service activities in the oil and gas sector within the maritime area.

The agreement highlights the Misurata Free Zone’s role in hosting and localizing strategic investments in Libya, while providing a supportive environment for the growth of the oil sector and related services.

The Bahr Al-Salam field is one of Libya’s most prominent oil and gas projects, located in the NC-41 offshore block, operated by Mellitah Oil & Gas, a joint venture between the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the Italian company ENI.
