The Misurata Free Zone is pleased to announce that it will host the Libyan International Maritime Economy Forum on January 10–11, 2026.


This significant event highlights the Free Zone's pivotal role in advancing the maritime economy and reinforces Libya’s position as an emerging regional hub for maritime trade and services.

Over the course of two days, the forum will provide a high-level international platform for:

* Exchanging expertise and industry best practices.

* Fostering strategic partnerships across borders.

* Exploring promising opportunities for regional investment and cooperation.

The event will bring together prominent industry participants from Europe and Africa, representing key sectors such as maritime transport, logistics, and international trade.


The forum is organized under the supervision of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, in collaboration with the Libya Trade Network and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
