Misurata Free Zone Meets with Surbana Jurong on Master Plan Development and Port Expansion

The Misurata Free Zone held a meeting today with representatives from Surbana Jurong, the renowned Singaporean consulting firm, at the Port Administration’s conference hall. This session forms part of the ongoing partnership to advance the Free Zone’s comprehensive master plan and expand MFZ Port.

The meeting included an in-depth review of current operational capabilities, explored promising investment opportunities across strategic industrial sectors, and discussed the phased development roadmap. The plan starts with upgrading berths and equipment, moves towards ambitious marine expansions, and ultimately aims for full integration between the port and the industrial zone.
