Misurata Free Zone has started receiving the first technical and economic studies conducted by Singapore's Sorbana Gurong, in implementation of the consultancy contract concluded between it and the company.

This step came after the conclusion of an official contract between the management committee in the zone and the Singapore company, to develop the Misurata Free Zone with its various facilities, especially the port, to become a global center for trade, logistics and investment, and the main transit destination to the closed countries of the African continent, in order to enhance its pivotal position.
