Libyan-Italian Forum Panel Explores Maritime Industry Partnerships and Investment Opportunities at Misurata Free Zone

The panel discussion at the Libyan-Italian Business & Investment Forum explored investment opportunities and logistics integration, bringing together officials and representatives of economic institutions and international companies.

The discussion featured Eng. Ayman Al-Darwish, Director General of Misurata Free Zone; Mohamed Al-Ra’id, President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture; Nicola Colicchi, President of the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce; and Enrico Della Gatta, Vice President of Defence Market Business Intelligence at Fincantieri.

The panel addressed investment opportunities and economic cooperation between Libya and Italy, the role of logistics integration in facilitating trade flows and fostering partnerships, as well as the potential of Misurata Free Zone to support the expansion of Italian companies in the Libyan market.
