Misurata Free Zone discussed with Huawei (the giant Chinese telecommunications and electronics company) investment opportunities and the development of the communications and information technology infrastructure in the free zone and its port.
In a meeting (attended by the General Director of Misurata Free Zone and the directors of Technical and Information Technology and Investment Departments), there was a discussion about the networking systems and providing advanced solutions in the field of communications, data and information centers, developing protection and monitoring systems, and preserving information and data. There was also a review of investment opportunities and a discussion about the available options to expand the horizons of cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that the company has more than 170,000 employees, about half of whom work in the field of research and development. It also has 21 research and development institutes around the world and distributes products and services in more than 170 countries.
