On Thursday, January 21th, the French ambassador to Libya and his delegation visited Misurata Free Zone headquarters. They were welcomed by the Chairman and General Manager of MFZ and Chairman of Misurata Businessmen Council.
The purpose of this visit is to explore of new investment opportunities and to discuss future bilateral trade cooperation.
Chairman of MFZ pointed out the strong relationships between the two countries and called for more strengthening and deepen of cooperation and also stressed to provide all the support to the French companies that wishes to invest in Misurata Free Zone.
Mr. Ambassador indicated during the meeting the importance of Misurata city in the fields of economic investment and international trade in the region, and his intention to encourage trade activities and facilitate visitation between the two countries, and the importance of opening cooperation horizons between France and Libya, and he highlighted as well on the strategic location of Misurata Free Zone and its many advantages including being close to the African countries.
