Putting the plans of Misurata Free Zone (aimed at providing digital solutions and digital transformation and developing services provided to investors and customers) into action and in support of the remarkable leap witnessed by Misurata Free Zone to keep pace with the global trend towards the fourth industrial revolution based on information technology
Misurata Free Zone witnessed yesterday (Wednesday, 09/29/2021) the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Misurata Free Zone and the technology giant “Huawei Technology”, establishing a long-term strategic cooperation between the two sides in several areas; starting with the provision of telecommunications services and setting up information technology systems to be part of the basic infrastructure.
The terms of the memorandum of understanding imply that Huawei will develop the requirements for services provided to investors, and improve the quality and efficiency of electronic services, monitoring and communication systems, by providing advanced solutions in the fields of communication and information technology, and designing the Misurata Free Zone Information Center.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Eng. Mohsen Al-Suqatri, Chairman of the Misurata Free Zone Management Committee, in the presence of the General Director, Eng. Ayman Al-Darwish, directors of IT, Investment, and Technical Affairs departments, and for Huawei, the CEO and Sales Manager of Huawei Libya and North Africa
