The Handling and Storage department has been connected to the main gate of the port of the free zone with a computerized barcode system, praise be to Allah, and subsequently to the staff at the departments of Information Technology, Handling, Security and Safety of Misurata Free Zone. This system is used, for the first time in Libyan ports, to organize and control the exit of goods from the port of the free zone, including all types of goods (cars – containers, etc.). This comes within the framework of organizing work in the facilities of Misurata Free Zone, improving the quality of the service provided and reducing any violations or penetrations that may occur during the exit of containers and goods from the port gate.
