In the context of improving the level of services and development of the facilities of Misurata Free Zone, especially the port and the services related to international marine navigation to guide ships, a number of (4) modern beacons has been supplied and installed at the entrance of the port and the areas around it. These beacons are powered by solar energy, connected to satellites, equipped with a GPS system and resistant to harsh weather conditions. They are meant to guide ships entering and exiting the port.
