An American delegation, (including Mr. Joe Garcia —former US Congressman from Florida, along with the director and officials of the Libyan media file at Mercury Group for Public Relations —an American company working for the Libyan government) has visited Misurata Free Zone. The delegation has met with the Chairman of the Management Committee, the Director of Administration Marketing and Director of the Technical Department of the Zone, in the presence of Mr. Muhammad Ali Abdullah, Special Envoy of the Government of National Unity to the United States. The visit comes as a way to learn about the activity of the Free Zone and plans to develop the commercial port and open up investment horizons. After the meeting, the delegation has visited the port and the new berth, in addition to a tour of the infrastructure project implemented in the Misurata Free Zone, which is expected to be completed soon.
