The first shipments (coming from the customs port of Ras Jedir, under customs guard) have arrived to the location of the branch of the investing company in Misurata Free Zone. The shipments belong to Rouge Company for Supply and Export which is the first foreign company licensed by Misurata Free Zone to conduct such activities. Transit trade activities in general will achieve a set of direct and indirect gains for the national economy. They will also raise the volume of intra-trade between the Libyan state and neighboring countries. In addition, they provide another source of hard currency, and help develop the lines engaged in this activity passes in the future.
