Misurata Free Zone received this morning (Tuesday, 09/21/2021) His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Libya, accompanied by the General Consul of the Turkish Republic in Misurata and the Governor of the Greater Kayseri Municipality in the presence of the Dean and a number of members of the Misurata Municipal Council. The Turkish delegation visiting the city of Misurata these days also include the dean of Malik Ghazi Municipality, the Dean of Talas Municipality, the Dean of Ozvatan Municipality, the President and members of the Chamber of Commerce in Kayseri Municipality. The General Manager of Misurata Free Zone and a number of heads of departments welcomed the delegation. Upon the arrival of the delegation, there was an exchange of welcome speech and a discussion about topics of interest for the two parties, exploring opportunities for exchange and cooperation and inviting Turkish companies to open branches in the free zone. There was also a discussion about providing permanent exhibitions for Turkish products. A visual presentation and detailed explanations about the advantages granted to investors and investment opportunities in the free zone were provided. The visit of the delegation was concluded with a tour within the port and the infrastructure project site (A) of Misurata Free Zone.
