Modern Gate of Port Project
The project consists of three entry lanes, four exit lanes, and administrative offices for the gate operators such as customs, security and safety as well as inspection, protection and control systems.
The project also aims to:
- Achieving a smooth flow of goods in and out of the port in response to the current severe congestion leading to a delay in the flow of goods, given that the operating gate is as old as 1978.
- Achieving the best possible amount of automated monitoring and control over the entry and exit of goods and people.
- Providing administrative and service offices for the port’s control authorities to achieve the best customer service.
