In the context of efforts made by the administration of Misurata Free Zone to provide electricity to investment companies within the free zone and the seaport, the final tests in the project connecting the 30 kV line between the main distribution station of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company and the main injection station started on Sunday 31/1/2016. The project was implemented by the Bosnian company Argo Invest and with the support of technical cadres in both Misurata Free Zone and the Libyan Iron and Steel Company.
