The fuel unloading work continues at port of Misurata Free Zone through part of the reserve berth and the old oil berth in the aftermath of the accident that occurred yesterday, Thursday 4/29/2021, at the oil berth. The damage occurred in the oil berth was as not significant as circulated by some media outlets.
The Administration of the Free Zone also stresses that the fuel unloading operations are in progress and the fuel supply is not going to be affected because of the aforementioned accident. Investigations are conducted to find out the causes of the accident.
