The Misurata Free Zone is participating as a gold sponsor in the annual conference “MarLog” for Maritime Transport in its 10th edition in Alexandria, organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport with the theme “Digitization in Ports and the Maritime Transport Industry” in the period between 13 and15 June 2021.
The General Director of Misurata Free Zone, the Director of the General Administration of the Port and the Director of the Maintenance Department will attend the conference along with the port sector and maritime transport officials of many Arab, African and European countries.
The organizers of this edition also include:

- The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH)
- Union for the Mediterranean
- The Port of Antwerp/Flanders Training Center
The number of attendees and speakers in all nine editions of the conference reached 4523 from 56 countries, and the number of papers presented therein reached 253 papers.
