In acknowledgement of the great contribution of more than 1.5 million seafarers, their efforts in transporting and delivering goods and their contributions to the support and growth of the global economy by roaming across the world’s seas (where 90% of international trade is transported by sea) the United Nations has recognized 25th June as the International Day of Seafarers since 2011. With sincere gratitude and appreciation, we greet all seafarers and workers in the port sector on the International Day of Seafarers, which fell on Friday 25/06/2021.
